Essential Eligibility Criteria for CHO Nursing (With BPCCHN)

Candidates must satisfy any one of the following eligibility conditions:

For B.Sc Nursing Candidates (With Integrated BPCCHN)

  1. Must have passed integrated BPCCHN course included in B.Sc Nursing
  2. Degree must be obtained in 2021 or later
  3. Institute must be recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC)
  4. Candidate will be posted as CHO after passing final year examination
  5. Must possess:
    • Registration Certificate
    • Provisional Certificate issued by WBNC
  6. Age Limit: Up to 40 years as on 1 April of the notification year
  7. Language Requirement: Proficiency in Bengali / local language & dialect

Eligibility for GNM / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (Before 2021)

Candidates applying for undergoing CPCH training must fulfill:

  1. Passed GNM or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing before 2021
  2. Qualification must be from an institute recognized by WBNC
  3. Must possess WBNC Registration Certificate
  4. Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01 April of notification year)
  5. Language Requirement: Proficiency in Bengali / local language & dialect

Desirable Qualification
